Total Memory Makeover
by Marilu Henner

We were thrilled to have actress and author Marilu Henner in person at the 2012 Chicago Health Freedom Expo. She is gifted with a rare condition called Highly Superior Auto-Biographical Memory (HSAM). She shared the story about her amazing memory and what her ability has taught her. She has the incredible ability to vividly recall every detail of each day of her life since childhood. Her book is about reclaiming what, in many cases, has been lost—the ability to recall the details of one’s own life. She explains there are three parts to every event: the anticipation, the participation and the recollection. She shares her understanding of this ability with the reader and gives simple, practical exercises to help improve memory skills. She candidly shares what it is like to have such a memory, why it is important and why she thinks we can benefit by taking steps to improve our own ‘remembering.’ She emphasizes that a memory must be developed and the earlier you start, the better. As we improve our memory we can learn to transform our memories to reclaim our past. This is perhaps the most valuable book on memory to have been published to date.

Forks Over Knives

This informative film examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. It lays out the plant based way to eating for good health.

Cut, Poison, Burn

A controversial and sometimes heartbreaking documentary film that puts the business of cancer treatment under the microscope. Follow the frustrating journeys of critically ill cancer patients as they try to navigate the confusing and dangerous maze of treatment and encounter formidable obstacles in the “cancer industrial complex.” This is a compelling critique of the influence of medical monopolies, the power of pharmaceutical companies and government agencies. This is essential viewing for anyone and everyone touched by cancer.
